Nkandla and the government

 ZUMA VS SOUTH AFRICA

Nkandla home
The issue of Nkandla has been at the same time very dramatic and funny in such a way that all the political leaders want to get involved in this issue. According to me it is just so wrong on how politicians get on each other’s neck concerning issue that are irrelevant, for the fact that they are all leaders they do not supposed to make this as an open issue whereby even the public get to know their evil minds. Rather they could have sat down and find solution without the public interference, now the public will not trust both the people who revealed the secret and those who committed the crime.

Unity must prevail
Read this carefully: The final costs of Nkandla are “conservatively estimated”to amount to R246 million, but could be higher. This means the public protector is not really sure on the exact amount that was miss-used by the government.

Zuma and Madonsela
According to my own opinion this matter should be examined carefully due to the fact that not only one person is involved in this issue, it just that grudges have been held against each other between different parties in the government this has resulted to some disputes which caused certain secrets to be revealed.

South Africa tradingwith China this shows a big achievement in the country’s market due to the fact that China is acknowledged to be among the great in the world market, but now this should not be taken as an advantage because china can decide to with draw themselves anytime from the agreement simply because of the matter happening at the government level. According to me in the next upcoming years a lot of investors will never want to work in South Africa because of the fact that they no longer trust this country. On the other hands investors are still tolerating just for the fact that their businesses have been established in the country for long.

South Africa trading with China
Really if there was good relationship between politicians there wouldn't be this sort of chaos. What I think is that, these politicians must come up to terms as soon as possible or else the president and the country’s image will be tarnished. And due to that international relations will be frozen, this will results to withdrawal of investment in South Africa. The reason why I’m saying this, just that no one and no country would want to invest in a country where miss- management is the title.

  1. I do get you point and I understand, why you say, politician could have sat down and came up with the solution. They did come up with the solution and the solution was the investigation conducted by Thuli Madonsela and she recommended that Zuma should pay back the money used on non security upgrade

    1. But still this does not show enough evidence that Zuma was the only person who miss- managed, whilst he works with people, so this surely means that although he is the president of the country blaming him only proves the report to be biased.

  2. In every country it is political disputes that get in the way of growth and progress, but in South Africa it is also corruption. It would be difficult for other political parties to do or say what they are, but it does not help that our leaders do not have a sense of accountability. Silence is not necessarily the best response here.

  3. very true! without forgetting the fact that the accusers could also be among those people who are destroying South Africa due to the fact that they are exposing their colleagues at the same time they are hiding their deeds. This is very terrible especially now days we do not know how to identify those who are right and wrong simply because they are all the same.

  4. i think Zuma stole the money and this matter must be brought in court in order to have a clear view of the issue then from there people will know whether is true or false, so this matter should be taken lightly because our taxes is involved

  5. i Understand, you are speaking on the emotional point of view, but i still think this matter should be investigated properly not just with one person's opinion, this does not prove enough that it is one personality involved in this case

  6. the Nkandla debacale should be dealt with appropriately and the president should not be disrespected

  7. i agree, to that. even if it was proven to be true that he stole the money but people should not dis respect him in public, this shows lack of wisdom

  8. But how can we respect a person who have tarnished the reputation of our country? must we just remain silent and pretend as if everything is alright or we should all have a say as a democratic society?

  11. i hear your point but still investigators have not yet proven enough that the story is real, maybe Europeans investigators should come down to Africa and look deep into this issue
